John is a friend of mine. We went to middle school together. Lost touch, and then I heard his music, fell in love with it, and we got back in touch. Wound up recording my own music with him many

Ah, I understand now. I know this might be a no, but do any CDs of the album exist still? I've been getting into his music recently and I'd love to hear what Everybody Sees You sounds like.

I discovered them through a community dedicated to finding songs that never have the author mentioned, and can't be recognized by music identifying apps (Shazam, Google Assistant Music Search, etc.) T

Folsom Prison Blues - Bob Dylan - A Tree With Roots

Isn't that some great stuff?

That's what THE BASEMENT TAPES should have been instead of the self-promoting garbage that Robbie Robertson had a hand in.

Pretty much. I do like A Tree With Roots, but it's one of the few things I do prefer playing on shuffle rather than full sequence, because sometimes I'm just not in the mood for 10 sequential takes of Quin the Mighty Eskimo. :hmm

Also, that's one of my favorite versions of "Box Full of Letters" that you posted. Jeff was off his nut. "He had a black eye...from stage diving!!." "Yeah, that's a long solo, Jay...we're gonna be here a while..."

I love the opening line:

The lights went out in New York

Then they went in Goshen

And I got stuck in Goshen

That was sad

A friend of mine transferred from my college to Goshen, Indiana, the year that album came out, and I always gave her crap for that. When she finally found out what the song I was quoting was about, she was miffed to say the least. :lol
