I don't post as much as I used to, and many of you may remember me as casinoqueen, but I'm still alive and kicking and check in on this place several times a day (I am a master procrastinator, I'll have you know ) Anyway, for the past few years there's been a pre-party on the Friday night before our Living Room Show where VCers from near and far have come together to get a chance to meet for the first time, see some old faces, hang out with good friends, and just have an all around rockin' good time! I'll be hosting this shindig this year...and wanted to extend the invitation to all you wonderful VCers. Edie has held this party in the past, but we've had some requests for people to be able to bring instruments and jam together this year...we were afraid Edie's neighbors might have her looking for a new home by the end of the weekend, so we decided to move it to my house in the northern burbs. So, details: Friday, April 4th7pmFeel free to bring drinks (Edie will be bringing some beer/wine, and we will provide plenty of soft drinks as well..), or small snacks/desserts if you feel like sharingBring an instrument if you want to play! Last year this went until at least 2:00 when my son Jake finally fell asleep (COATS!) and I thought that if I were to make it to Erin's the following night, I had to get to bed. So, without stepping too much on Morgan's toes, I think that if you can get there by midnight, there will still be a little bit of party left!
